Our client is seeking a Cloud Architect, located in Chantilly, VA, to join their team.

They are looking for a Cloud Architect applicant that has experience with the following:

• Establishes system information requirements using analysis from the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large scale information systems. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications for Cloud Initiatives.
• Provides account team support for moderately complex projects/programs to include business and technical solutions for the bid process and the planning, design, implementation and support to ensure the information technology (IT) solutions strategy.
• Designs, communicates, and maintains Cloud technology vision and architecture for medium-sized information technology solution projects/programs. Provides technical and project/program leadership on medium-sized information technology infrastructure engagements.
• Serves as technology expert on delivering technological requirements with a focus on Cloud solutions in addition to others such as server, desktop, local service, Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, data centers, mainframes, medium sized server configuration, and backup services to meet business needs.
• Provides technical expertise and guidance; participates in design reviews; validates technology approach and associated work products on medium sized projects to ensure adherence to company guidelines. Conducts cost analysis studies to determine feasibility of various approaches.
• Captures technical requirements and defines technology solutions; creates the conceptual, logical and physical design of the solution to ensure appropriate technology is acquired and implemented
• Works with team members, on-site consultants, partners, companies, third parties, and clients to define, develop and deploy technology solutions.
• Assists client in defining strategic technology direction for solution

The successful Cloud Architect applicant will possess the following requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related IT experience (No substitution of education/experience)
• Masters Degree or higher with over six years of related experience

Equivalents:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with eight years experience, or Doctorate Degree with four years experience  details here
