Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC) is happy to announce the third one day workshop on computational science. The previous workshops in this series have been successfully completed in February 2011 and 2012 with more than 100 participants from all over India. Computational science is an interdisciplinary area that brings together the domain specific knowledge of science and engineering with relevant areas of computing and mathematics.
This helps advance all areas of science and engineering. SERC at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is one of the prominent places in India that conducts academic/research activities in computational science. This multidisciplinary nature of computational science has seen tremendous growth in the past decade, leading to many advances in various disciplines of science and engineering.
