The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kozhikode, an autonomous body under the Union government, has invited applications for admission to postgraduate diploma courses commencing in February and March.
The courses will be useful for engineering graduates to enter into the information technology sector and the electronics industry.
Postgraduate diploma in Information Security and Cloud Computing (24 weeks): the course is aimed at moulding candidates into skilled system or cloud engineers with information security knowledge to maintain the systems, networks and cloud infrastructure. The course provides candidates with information required for configuration and administration of OS server, cloud development and its security and equip them with the skills required to protect and recover computer systems and networks from various security threats in dedicated or cloud environments. The course commences on March 3.
Entry qualification is M.Tech., B.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. or B.Sc. (IT, Computer Science or Electronics) degree or equivalent. The course fee is Rs. 59,000. Total seats: 25.
Apply before February 26. Selection is on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. for more info see here
