Participate in award-winning international research projects and become part
of a young and interdisciplinary team. You will closely work together with
other researchers with a passion for conceptualizing and implementing novel
solutions to challenging technical problems. You will collaboratively
advance the state of the art in one or more of the following disciplines:

Web intelligence, social media, information visualization, user interface
design, knowledge extraction, text mining, semantic search, and
crowdsourcing.

The Department of New Media Technology of MODUL University Vienna and the
Research Institute for Computational Methods of Vienna University of
Economics & Business offer part-time (current students), full-time and PhD

Essential Qualifications

** Extensive programming experience (preferably in Java, JavaScript or
Python)
** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications :: Frontend Development Positions

** Dynamic Web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, PHP)
** Crowdsourcing and Games with a Purpose
** Human Computer Interaction, Responsive User Interface Design

Desired Qualifications :: Backend Development Positions

** Natural Language Processing, Text Mining (Python)
** Sentiment Analysis, Opinion Mining
** Affective and Factual Knowledge Extraction with Semantic Technologies
