Workshop at RVCE on Natural Language Processing and Speech Recognition


Dear Sir/Madam,

We are hosting a three day workshop on 'Natural Language Processing and Speech Recognition' from 15th April 2013 to 17th April 2013 at RVCE funded by TEQIP Phase II. This workshop aims at promoting and exploring the possibilities for research and practical applications involving Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Speech Processing. The objective is to understand various NLP tasks like corpus analysis, tag set design, morphological analysis and generation, spell checking, stemming, tagging, parsing, glossing/translation, question answering. To master language models and how they fit in, for speech and character recognition both printed and handwritten. The workshop would also include thorough discussions on issues and challenges in Indian languages NLP and Speech Recognition with resource persons who have huge expertise in the domain.
