FUSION PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The current product can only be applied to markets where milk is metered into tanks. The company aim is to remove this barrier to export by designing and developing a hand-held system to replace current fixed metering. As well as opening other markets, this will enable process improvement by intelligent analysis of the data generated.
FUSION GRADUATE
Reporting to the Company Supervisor, you will be employed by Piper Systems Ltd to lead the FUSION project. You will be responsible for ensuring that it is brought to a successful conclusion with the support from your supervisors. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to gain excellent industrial experience through a structured and planned programme of work. In addition to the daily support of a Company Supervisor, a dedicated member of University of Ulster with expertise in the project area will spend time with you and your Company Supervisor supporting the project. Additional support will also be given to you by a FUSION Consultant responsible for ensuring that all projects run according to schedule.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Candidates must possess
1. Minimum qualification 2.1 in Computing Science degree
2. To be considered for this position you must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
Desirable
1. Three to four years’ experience of working in software development industry with web
2. Technologies and/or mobile technologies and network experience preferable.
3. Proven problems solving abilities.
4. Evidence of research skills
FUSION Graduates who have completed the FUSION Post Graduate Diploma in Management need not apply.
