Job Description
We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Cloud Systems Architect who will be responsible to design and implement provisioning and management software for Cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives amidst the challenges of a fast-paced environment and can be called upon to "work in the trenches" if need be. This is an IDEAL job if you are an architect with 5 years of experience in architecting enterprise level java-based solutions, who wants to be part of a intensely skilled team and feels total ownership of your work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all systems are working at optimal levels and offers support to application development department regarding new technologies and system requirements. You will be working closely with other members of the technology staff, including systems administration, product management and software development to ensure understanding and hands-on implementation of java-based cloud solutions. You will provide product specifications for Cloud solutions; conducts architectural and code reviews and assists in governance and adherence.
Desired Skills & Experience
Additional requirements:
Experience with one or more Virtualized environments (KVM, VMware, et al.); Knowledge of SAN Storage Platforms and virtualized storage solutions; Effective verbal, written, documentation and presentation skills required. Expert level in Cloud-related technologies, Hypervisor, Storage and Service Orchestration. Knowledge of advanced network concepts (VLANs, VPN, Firewall, Loadbalancing, et. al.). Knowledge of UML Modeling (specifically, Enterprise Architect Modeling Software by Sparx Systems) a plus.
