Key Role:
Work as a Systems Engineer to support a major Army ISR Cloud project to develop and review project plans related to Hadoop HDFS, MapReduce, Katta Indexing, and Cloudbase. Work with clients and other project staff to develop complex technical solutions ranging from high-level architecture products to user interface system improvements. Work directly with individual project leaders to ensure projects are being completed in accordance with established plans and that resources are made available, as required. Coordinate with product managers and others developing technology transition documentation and plans. Develop technology roadmaps by working with project leaders and transition partners, outlining projected technology growth areas and technology development over the coming years. Coordinate and plan across the entire program, including planning and designing TEMs and demos, provide technical direction to the development team, and architect hardware, software, database, and integration solutions. Work with day to day systems engineering processes, involving requirements generation and analysis and develop systems engineering documentation and program briefings. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-8 years of experience with systems engineering and SDLC in the government consulting industry
-4 years of experience with requirements analysis and systems analysis and managing and configuring systems
-Experience with the full-range of systems engineering functions, including requirements analysis, traceability, test and verification, operations concepts, trade studies, and systems prototyping
-Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies, including Hadoop HDFS, MapReduce, Katta, or Cloudbase
-Ability to obtain a security clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with large, complex emerging technology systems
-Experience with Army, ISR, and C2
-Experience with deploying and maintaining the IA of large-scale systems CONUS and OCONUS
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
