The University of Melbourne is seeking 3 dynamic early career academics with expertise in Computer Science or Information Systems. This is an opportunity to build a career with an internationally recognised group of academics and make a significant contribution to the teaching, research, and administration of the Department of Computing and Information Systems, http://www.cis.unimelb.edu.au. As members of our of academic staff, successful applicants will undertake high impact research, join leading research teams, collaborate with industry and with researchers across the University, publish in leading journals and conferences, supervise research students, secure independent funding, and deliver outstanding graduate and undergraduate teaching.
Candidates whose research is aligned to the Department's areas of expertise are encouraged to apply. Two of the appointments will be expected to contribute to our teaching of Software Engineering; the third will add to our capability in the general field of data analytics or data science. We are particularly interested in recruiting female academics as well as academics with a track record of engagement with industry.
