To empower citizens and to bring Good Governance, HDPS is organizing an Awareness Programme on the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 on 5th of April 2015 at 10 am sharp at Maharashtra Mandal, above NMR Scan Centre, Club Road, Hubballi. Citizens across the nation have used RTI to expose corruption and bring Good Governance! Citizens of Hubballi-Dharwad now have the CHOICE to make use of this opportunity to bring real difference to their surroundings and the City OR remain silent spectators. The awareness programme will help Citizens understand:
- What is RTI… How to use RTI effectively… How to write good RTI applications….?
- What to do if authorities refuse information…?
- How to compel authorities to do the work for which they are appointed by paying public money…?
- How to Bring Good Governance by people's participation and use of tools like RTI…?
Citizens can register themselves as Members of HDPS at the venue and contribute their bit to the progress of the City.
