Assistant professor in Denmark is a position dedicated to people who

wish to qualify for a tenured faculty position. PhD degree is required.

It is a fixed term position typically offered first for 3 years with an option

to extend it for additional year.

Appointment as an Assistant Professor cannot exceed a period of four years

in total at Aalborg University in a temporary position (appointment at Assistant

Professor level cannot exceed a period of eight years in total in Denmark).

-          User modeling, adaptation, and personalization
-          Other related areas

The new candidate should complement existing expertise but collaboration

with existing faculty members is also expected.

The candidate duties are:

-          Teaching at the graduate and postgraduate level (typically 12 lectures and

-          Funds raising or collaboration on funds raising
