UPSC exams: What are they?

UPSC stands for Union Public service commission. It is an organ of central government with a mandate to recruit people for various central departments. Starting from Indian Foreign service(IFS) through IAS, it conducts recruitment exams throughout the years. For most of the exams graduates including engineering are eligible.
