Bio-IT Cloud Summit 2012

In today's data center-centric world, where workers are increasingly distributed but IT is being centralized, solutions are needed that address the broad set of performance requirements necessary to truly virtualize and centralize IT, while ensuring end user performance.

Cloud and big data

are the two megatrends of this decade. They will shape the way life science companies and research institutions build infrastructure and handle data, and they are leading to an era where “the data fabric is the next middleware.”

In this conference, we showcase how the Cloud will help new developers build apps to make effective use of petascale systems for a broad range of life science and engineering applications, and make it less of a time, cost and power drain. More details here
